The main natural feature of the gorge consists of striking massifs, Ovčar and Kablar mountains, decorated with pronounced trapped meanders and thermal springs. Due to its 10 monasteries and two holy places, the Ovčar-Kablar gorge is also known as "Serbian Holy Mountain".
